ElectroMech introduces HB Series Cranes for Auto Industry
Industrial crane manufacturer and customized material handling solutions provider ElectroMech announced the addition of HB Crane Systems to its already impressive product line. This light weight crane was unveiled at Metal Buildings & Steel Structures (MBSS) Expo 2010 – an international event on modern methods for fast track construction scheduled at Auto Cluster Pune, from 03 to 05 June. One of ElectroMech’s very successful products – the Single Girder Crane was also displayed.
Always receptive to its customer’s feedback and solution, ElectroMech felt a strong need for a lifting solution for light weight goods especially in the assembly lines. Thus, the HB Crane System which is a modular, practical and cost-effective product was added.
Tushar Mehendale, Managing Director, ElectroMech said, “We have collaborated with ABUS (leading European Crane manufacturer) for manufacturing this range in India. Basically, HB Systems are Light Weight cranes that are used majorily in auto and auto-ancillary industries. Today’s HB-Systems feature a combination of advanced technology, economy, flexibility, quality which has gained full recognition in our industry. We as a total solutions provider want to ensure that we help our customers overcome all material handling challenges in a cost effective manner.” He further added, “We thought of launching the HB Crane-Systems at MBSS as it truly endeavors to bridge the gap between technology owner and users.”
Rohan Warty, Sales & Marketing Head, ElectroMech added, “The HB-System is one of the most successful developments in lifting and material handling technology, combining the effectiveness of a stationary hoist with the mobility of an overhead crane, efficiently and cost-effectively. This system that can lift loads between 50 kgs to 2 tonnes can be adapted and individually fitted to almost any type of room or ceiling design.”
ElectroMech’s philosophy of being a total solutions’ provider was effectively highlighted at the exhibition. Visitors to the ElectroMech stall were given a unique opportunity to comprehend how material handling predicaments such as plant integration, flexibility at the work place and cost-reduction can be successfully achieved by the use of right hoisting equipment. This enabled customers to evaluate the capabilities of ElectroMech’s solutions through the medium of a simple game “Lift-off Problems” where they could actually use a miniature version of a Radio Remote Controlled Single Girder Crane. Players had to lift load-boxes with the help of the crane and align them properly to see the change in operations with the help of electronically operated smileys. This also gave the customers an opportunity to understand the fineness of motion and the precision of the cranes supplied by ElectroMech.
