Water treatment plants, reverse osmosis plants, filtration plants
Reverse Osmosis, also known as hyper filtration, is the finest filtration known. Reverse osmosis is used to purify water and remove salts and other impurities in order to improve the color, taste or properties of the fluid. It can be used to purify fluids such as ethanol and glycol, which will pass through the reverse osmosis membrane, while rejecting other ions and contaminants from passing.
Filtration Plants: Filtration of water or effluent is done with the intention of removal of suspended solids and organics which impart a certain taste and odor to the water.
Sand Filters: Pressure sand filter is highly recommended for the removal of suspended & visible impurities like sand, dust particles & heavy metals etc.
Carbon Filters: Activated carbon is the most common method of treatment for dechlorination and removal of taste and odor from water, through adsorption of the compounds that cause these problems.
Micron Cartridge Filters are essential filters, to get a super clarity & extra sparkle to water. Cartridge style whole house filters are a good choice for homes with sediment in the water supply. As well as providing clean drinking water, these systems help prevent contaminants from causing damage to water heaters and other appliances.
Water Softening Plants: The largest application of ion exchange to water treatment is in the area of water softening. This is the process of removing calcium, magnesium and other polyvinyl cations in exchange for sodium ions. Common uses for water softening are in residential and commercial applications for ease of cleaning, improved laundry and dish washing and a reduction in scaling lead ing to more efficient use of energy in hot water heating.
